Position: Help Desk Technician
The primary role of our Help Desk Technician is to provide technical assistance and support to the computer system users of our customers and to users within our organization. He or she will answer questions and resolve problems for customers using remote administration tools, via telephone, via email or in person. Typical problems include but are not limited to the use of: computer hardware, software, printers, remote connectivity, email and operating systems.
This person will also be responsible for proactively administering networking infrastructure performance, including servers, workstations and peripheral devices for our customers and for Autonomix. Our Help Desk Technician is customer-oriented and works with Autonomix team members to ensure our systems are stable, secure and reliable. The Help Desk Technician adheres to all service team policies and procedures. As work is completed during the day, he or she enters details of all work performed into our CRM system in clear, concise language.
This is a full-time, hourly position with occasional overtime. Work location: Poulsbo. Employee must have own transportation and be able to make customer site visits (mileage will be reimbursed).
Responsibilities:
- Provides technical assistance to computer system users
- Monitors system performance and analyze to baseline
- Schedules and performs routine backups
- Performs workstation configuration and software loading
- Assist with ad hoc projects as needed
- Record work time and related work notes in our CRM system
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- Pass relevant Microsoft certification exams
Technical Skills:
- Windows XP, Vista, 7 and networking experience required
- Microsoft Office 2003, 2007
- Active Directory
- Small Business Server 2003, 2008
- Windows Server 2003, 2008
- DNS/DHCP
- Help desk or customer service background
- Minimum 2 years work experience in a business environment
- Technical certifications desired

Position: Office Assistant
The primary role of our Office Assistant is to provide administrative support to the Autonomix management team. S/he will be responsible for general office and light bookkeeping duties at our downtown Seattle office and reports directly to our CEO.
This is a part-time, hourly position. Work hours: 20 hours per week, with five 4-hour days, and work shift starting no earlier than 8:30 AM. Work location: Downtown Seattle.
Responsibilities:
- Order and replenish office supplies & groceries
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail
- General filing
- Run errands as needed
- Tidy office common areas
- Coordinate conference room scheduling requests
- Coordinate quarterly staff meetings
- Assist with ad hoc projects as needed
- QuickBooks data entry
- Assist with mid-month and EOM billing
- Service contract document management
- Track open purchase orders
- Reconcile Ingram Micro credit account
- Receive inventory items
- Make bank deposits
Skills & Requirements:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Intuit QuickBooks
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Strong attention to detail
- High school diploma, some college preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in a business setting
